Tim Wilson will be joining WMI to lead the company’s sales and development training operations and to serve as program manager for our exterior water conservation. In this capacity he will develop and standardize both employee and customer training programs company-wide. In addition, Wilson will focus on greatly expanding the company’s irrigation and rainwater harvesting sustainability services. Wilson brings unparalleled credentials to Water Management Inc with over 27 years experience in the irrigation and water conservation industry. He has worked in contracting, distribution, manufacturing and consulting in both landscape and agricultural irrigation. He is a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA), a Certified Golf Irrigation Auditor (CGIA), Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC), a Certified Site Water Planner (CSWP), and a Certified Irrigation Designer in Commercial, Residential and Agricultural Drip Micro. Additionally, he is a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+ Comp TIA). For eight years, Mr. Wilson held the position of Education Director for the Irrigation Association (IA), the preeminent authority on irrigation standards and practices, creating dozens of training programs and authoring many of their training manuals. Most recently, Wilson is the author of "Site Water Management Planning, a Handbook for Landscape, Water Conservation, Golf and Irrigation Professionals and Sprinkler Scheduling in 15 Minutes." Many of his books are used at the university level as text books. Wilson has travelled the world consulting and training on a variety of water and irrigation issues. In fact, during Wilson’s career as a consultant, he has had the opportunity to work with utilities and government agencies on conservation programs, rebate programs and developing and providing training programs. Currently, Wilson serves on the board of directors for the Irrigation Water Management Society. |
